
Former Super Eagles striker Joseph Akpala scored Karabukspor's only goal in their 1-0 win over Akhisar Belediyespor in Monday night's clash at the Mayıs stadium to take hsi tally for the season to two.
The former Werder Bremen striker scored with a header in the 74th minute to seal all three points for his side in the encounter.
It was his second goal of the season in league and his fourth in all competitions since joining the Turkish side in the summer.
The former Club Brugge player who featured for the Super Eagles at the 2013 FIFA Condefederations Cup in Brazil has so far played seven Turkish Super lig games.
At the Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stadium in İstanbul, Michael Eneramo was an 83rd minute for Hugo Almeida as his Besiktas side beat Konyaspor 3-1. It was Eneramo's fifth appearance in the league after his transfer from Sivasspor. He has scored once so far this term.
