 Seedorf: Taarabt thriving for Milan
The Dutchman has hailed the versatile attacker's fine form and was pleased with his side's performance in general

Clarence Seedorf has taken the time to praise Adel Taarabt in the wake of AC Milan's 2-0 Serie A win over Sampdoria on Sunday.

The Morocco international opened the scoring after 12 minutes of play, while he also played a role in the Rossoneri's second goal, and Seedorf was quick to acknowledge the QPR loanee's contribution.

"Taarabt did very well against Sampdoria," Seedorf said at the post-match press conference.

"I am satisfied with how he has been performing since his transfer. His versatility adds a lot to the team. He can play in all three positions behind the striker."

The Milan coach then went on to discuss Riccardo Saponara's performance following the youngster's surprise inclusion in the starting XI, before voicing his satisfaction with the San Siro side's display in general.

"It was Saponara's first game from the start since I came here and he played a good match.

"The players did well today. They were compact and they helped each other out. They did well in both phases of the game."

Milan, whose victory on Sunday secured their first back-to-back wins in Serie A this season, currently sit ninth in the table with 35 points from 25 games.
