Josep Maria Bartomeu intends to "sweat blood and tears" in his six-year term as Barcelona president following Saturday's election win.
The 52-year-old claimed 54.63 per cent of members' votes, giving him a clear triumph over second-placed Joan Laporta with 33.03%, who had been at charge at Camp Nou between 2003 and 2010.
Bartomeu, who has run Barca since Sandro Rosell's resignation in January 2014, has pledged the new board will do its utmost to ensure Luis Enrique has the players at his disposal to win more trophies.
"We'll try to live up to members' expectations, to the challenges ahead and the legacy of those who came before us," he said in a speech on Sunday.
"We'll continue to develop and win if we can give Luis Enrique and his backroom staff the best possible tools and players for the job.
"We'll continue to develop and win by organising La Masia in a way that ensures it continues to provide the foundations of the first-team.
"We'll continue to develop and win if we become a global example for women's football.
"We'll work hard and sweat blood and tears for Barcelona just like Carles Puyol, Xavi, Eric Abidal and Lionel Messi have always done to ensure that in terms of silverware, playing style, revenue and values, we remain the biggest club in the world."
Barcelona enjoyed a euphoric 2014-15 – Luis Enrique's first in charge of the Catalans – as they won the Champions League, La Liga and Copa del Rey in a single season for only the second time.
Despite a Fifa-imposed transfer ban for this calendar year, Barca have already signed Atletico Madrid's Arda Turan and Sevilla's Aleix Vidal, both of whom will make their debuts in 2016.
Laporta hit out at Bartomeu's victory on Sunday, claiming he would "destroy" the Masia academy system which has produced so many first-team stars.
