Bruma: Ronaldo is my idol

 Bruma: Ronaldo is my idol
The Portugal Under-21 international has admitted he cannot wait to share a field with a player that he models his game on

New Real Sociedad winger Bruma has admitted that he is looking forward to going up against his "idol", Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, in La Liga this coming campaign.

Bruma has joined the Basque side on a season-long loan from Galatasaray with a view to a permanent move at the end of the 2015-16 campaign for an undisclosed fee.

The Portugal Under-21 international has already spoken of his admiration for Sociedad, but the versatile attacker has now confessed that he was drawn to La Liga by his compatriot.

"It will be an honour for me to play against Cristiano Ronaldo," Bruma, 20, told his new club's official website.

"He's a player I know from the Seleccao and a player I admire very much.

"He's my idol and it feels special to have the opportunity to play in the same league as him.

"It will be important for me to have the chance to play against Ronaldo."

Meanwhile, Sociedad boss David Moyes believes that Bruma will offer an extra dimension to his side's attack next term.

"Bruma brings speed and is a player who can play both on the left wing and centrally," the Scot stated.
