West Ham have won the race to sign Juventus defender Angelo Ogbonna, SportGigs understands.
As reported by SportGigs, the Hammers began talks with the Champions League finalists earlier this week and are now understood to have agreed a €10 million fee, which could rise to €12m with add-ons.
Slaven Bilic earmarked the 27-year-old as a target following his appointment last month but faced competition from Everton to make him his third signing after the arrivals of Pedro Obiang and Dimitri Payet.
Ogbonna, who has been capped 10 times by Italy, has struggled to secure regular first-team football at Juventus and has been unable to adapt to a three-man defence under both Antonio Conte and Massimiliano Allegri.
Monaco defender Aymen Abdennour and Dynamo Kiev's Aleksandar Dragovic were also of interest to Bilic, but Ogbonna - who made 25 appearances last season - was the preferred target.
