!!! Corruption in Unilag Sport Centre !!! Suspended Sport Director is about to be called back, SHE MUST GO

  • The fight against corruption in Nigeria is simply moving like a roller coaster. You'll think its moving forward when in fact, its taking you back to the starting point. This is the case in the University of Lagos where a staff who has been investigated by four different panels and found guilty of mismanagement is suddenly now to be reinstated by the University. The former corrupt sports director is suddenly
now to be reinstated back to her post to manage sports by the University council even after the school senate has approved her dismissal. The council which is suppose to represent the interest of the visitor President Buhari, has decided to overlook the corrupt practises of the former sports director. Reports has suggested that this decision came from high places even a former president of this country is intervening to reinstall a corrupt person back to office.

Mr Sogbesan of blessed didn't do up to this and the high and mighty had him sacked.

Where is the place of equity in this country?

The University of Lagos Council and senior management, we are watching you all.
ASSU, this is a fight we should take up, as we cannot allow corruption to be the order of the day in this great country.

  • LET'S PUT HANDS TOGETHER FOR CHANGE

We say a very big NO to this and we will expose them all.

  • dare2trymthis have to stop, we dont want corrupt leaders anymore. this is a school premises for Christ sake, so what are we teaching the students if they overlook all what she did. if there is Power, let there be Justice
  • fortuneonwubikoThis is outrageous.... How can the panel even think of reinstating this woman, a thief,. I remember the state of Unilag's sport centre back when this woman was the sport director, it was nothing to write home about. The sports centre was a danger zone to many of us due to poor maintenance, should I even talk about the stench coming out of the office, rest rooms and the surroundings, even the gym was not left out. The school athletes were not given any reward, incentives for representing the school, no source of motivation at all. Go check out the sport centre now, everything has changed. I can't even believe it is the same sport centre where I trained, received lectures etc. Dr Awoyinfa has done a very good job in the little time he has spent so far and is still going to do more. We are saying NO to corrupt officials. We are taking a stand against corrupt practices.
  • _pamilerin007No way this has to stop...let there be justice...
  • bvlaklumiThis is so wrong in many ways, a woman whose reign as the sports director was a trashy one, the gym was shut down, the facilities in sports centre were nothing to write home about, the pool was closed down, the athletes were not getting their incentives and to top it all she was found guilty of mismanagement of funds by 4 different panels. The thing is the sport centre is keeps generating revenue for its up keep and even for the school at large but we want a man of integrity like Dr. Awoyinfa to manage the funds will and keep up the good work he has started. There has been tremendous improvements over the past months he has taken over administration and it would be a very big set back to this citadel of learning if Mrs. Cecilia is reinstated.
  • qwerttyboyImagine using corruption to fight corruption!!! This is Nigeria
