Zlatan Ibrahimovic has dismissed the suggestion that Ligue 1 is too easy for Paris Saint-Germain.

The reigning French champions are currently two points clear of Monaco at the top of the table, having lost just one of their 17 domestic games to date.

However, Ibrahimovic does not agree with those that believe that PSG's expensively assembled squad can do as they please in Ligue 1, with the Swede arguing that Lauren Blanc's men are always forced to dig deep in every encounter.

"We must stop saying that the championship of France is too easy for Paris Saint-Germain," the 32-year-old striker told his club's official website.

"Each team is complicated to deal with and there is always a lot of commitment. Physically, the Ligue 1 is impressive.

"With each game, all of the pressure is on us, while our opponents play the game of their season.

"Upsetting PSG, the defending champions, boosts their motivation. They do not play to 100, but 200 per cent!

"So, nothing is ever simple, even if we do everything to make it become so."
