JUVENTUS have denied that they have ever held talks with Manchester United over a move for Arturo Vidal.
Vidal has been heavily linked with a move to United this summer in one of the transfer window's longest running sagas.
But
despite the huge number of column inches written and the player's
refusal to rule out a move, Juventus are now insisting that a transfer
was never on the cards.
Juve CEO Beppe Marotta
told Sky Sports Italia: "Vidal is fine, he resumed working and the knee
is fully functional. He's at disposal of the team.
"There
have been the usual rumours about him, but he has never been put on the
transfer market and there has never been a negotiation.
